Mutual funds have bought stocks worth a net Rs 278.18 crore on 12 January 2018, compared with net inflow of Rs 784.76 crore on 11 January 2018. The net inflow of Rs 278.18 crore on 12 January 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 583.77 crore and gross sales of Rs 305.59 crore. On 12 January 2018, the Sensex had advanced 88.90 points or 0.26% to settle at 34,592.39, its record closing high.

Mutual funds have bought shares worth a net Rs 2559.06 crore in January 2018 (till 12 January 2018). They had purchased shares worth a net Rs 8333.30 crore in December 2017.
