Mutual funds have bought stocks worth a net Rs 8.80 crore on 13 October 2017, as compared with net inflow of Rs 1142.49 crore on 12 October 2017. The net inflow of Rs 8.80 crore on 13 October 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 110.22 crore and gross sales of Rs 101.42 crore. On that day, the Sensex rose 250.47 points or 0.78% to settle at 32,432.69, its highest closing level since 2 August 2017.
Mutual funds have purchased shares worth a net Rs 5181.84 crore in October 2017 so far (till 13 October 2017). They had bought shares worth a net Rs 17456.84 crore in September 2017.
