The net assets under management (AUM) of the Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs) stood at Rs 23,177.31 crore at the end of July 2026, according to data from the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI). This represents a 29.8% increase over the Rs 17,857.77 crore recorded at the end of June 2026.
Equity Oriented Investment Strategies accounted for a net AUM of Rs 6,653.66 crore as on 31 July 2026, up 32.1% from Rs 5,035.50 crore in the previous month. The category witnessed net inflows of Rs 1,454.01 crore during July, with Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Funds attracting the highest inflows, followed by Equity Long-Short Funds and Sector Rotation Long-Short Funds.
Hybrid Investment Strategies remained the larger segment, with net AUM rising to Rs 16,523.65 crore as on 31 July 2026 from Rs 12,822.27 crore at the end of June, marking a 28.9% increase. The category garnered net inflows of Rs 3,467.94 crore during the month, with Hybrid Long-Short Funds remaining as the preferred strategy over Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Funds.
In June 2026, a total of 3 new Specialized Investment Funds (SIFs) completed allotment, mobilizing Rs 788 crore.
While Equity-Oriented Investment Strategies launched one scheme and mobilized Rs 181 crore, Hybrid Long-Short Funds launched two schemes and attracted Rs 608 crore in investor funds in July 2026.
